LET US ROAM
As most of you know, one of the main collaborators that the Mattson 2 have worked with extensively for the past 7 years is the legendary sk8r musician Ray Barbee. The great folks over in Bozeman, Montana at Helio Collective recently did a series of artist profiles for Leica Cameras entitled Let Us Roam. Included in the ray Barbee portrait are some shots and sounds of the Mattson 2.

Actually three of the four artist Helio Collective profiles are great compadres of the Mattson 2! ARTO SAARI is a fellow Finlander (Mattson 2's nationality is mostly Finnish) and we've done some great work together; played music at one of his exhibitions, scored a composition for one of his Flip Sk8 videos he directed in Canada, and Arto recently did a photo shoot with us in Los Angeles.

ATIBA JEFFERSON is a fellow identical twin and skateboarder/photographer who actually shredded with our older brother Micah Mattson back in the day. He and his twin brother Ako are also some of the most knowledgable and diverse music lovers m2 has ever met.....they jam anyone from Tupac to Steve Reich to Thrill Jockey dudes to Blue Note dudes to The Smiths......rad dj's too.
